Esiclene (formebolone)

Esiclene, also known as formebolone, is a modified form of the oral steroid Dianabol. 

However, it exhibits very weak anabolic and androgenic properties compared to its parent drug.

Medically it was used for children with growth issues, but had only marginal effects. In bodybuilding, it is solely used pre-competition by injecting into specific muscles to intentionally cause localized irritation, swelling, and temporary size gains.

When injected, Esiclene can create site inflammation but no actual muscle tissue growth. The swelling subsides within days after which the muscle returns to its normal size. There are no real performance benefits.

Additionally, Esiclene offers no estrogenic activity but can stress the liver since it is a C17-alpha alkylated oral steroid. There is little to no demand for this niche product today.

In summary, Esiclene has very limited applications, no muscle building properties, and questionable risk-to-reward ratio. Safer and more effective alternatives exist for cosmetic enhancement purposes.
